Craters & Freighters custom designs both Double-walled and Tri-walled corrugated packaging containers to give you the options of shipping your items in a less expensive, but very strong and durable package, than wood crating. These corrugated containers are banded on a pallet to give them the ability to be moved by fork lifts, rather than by hand, thus reducing the possibility of causing damage to your shipment.

The inner packaging for all containers, whether wood or corrugated, have a 1" foam lining covering all sides, including the top and bottom. On heavy or fragile items, we use 2" PE for cushioning to prevent damage. We use a wide variety of wrapping materials to protect your items being shipped. This is important for those items that have a lacquered or other similar finishes that would be damaged without the proper materials used to wrap and protect the surface finish. We use glassine for oil paintings to protect the surface from damage before bubble-wrapping them.
